Learning Pods

Last school year, APEC Schools implemented Learning Pods as a one-time event each school year which was conducted online. However, on the 29th of March, 2023. The first face-to-face LPods were held at the site of APEC Schools V. Luna. The idea of Learning Pods [Passion, Opportunities, and Development Sessions] Student Edition is to provide the students with life skills that will help them enhance and build their confidence, stay engaged, and be prepared for the future as in APEC we aim to be #BetterEachDay.

The Return of UPCAT

The University of the Philippines, the most prestigious university in the country, offers free education to those that pass its difficult entrance examination, UPCAT. Due to the pandemic since 2019, the UPCAT was replaced with UPCA which does not offer an entrance exam, fully assessing a student's capability through their high school grade as the university has to follow the COVID-19 protocols for the safety of the students and as well as continuing to pursue education amidst the pandemic.

Living in a world full of flaws and danger, a person can find themselves in spine-chilling situations such as being a victim of harassment. The consequences of harassment vary to any person and the level of intensity they receive from the crime. Harassment results in trauma and leads to depression and anxiety, or symptoms related to post-traumatic stress disorder (Parker, 2022), which worsen the mental health of an individual and well-being. It’s that time of the school year again! APEC Schools V. Luna is now in the search for the school’s next Student Council.The admin announced the start of the agenda for the upcoming election last March 17, 2023. Save the dates for these important events:

  • The Release of the Official Candidates was disclosed on April 24, 2023.

  • The Campaign Period is on April 25, 2023 - May 5, 2023.

  • Meeting de Avance will be on May 4, 2023. 

  • Election Day will be held on May 8, 2023.

Ever since the pandemic, video games have become one of the leading sources of entertainment for a lot of people, especially kids and teens. However, even before the pandemic, video games have been a source of entertainment for a lot of people. One of the most influential games was Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (ML), it is a competitive multiplayer online battle arena game developed and published by Moonton. Players get to compete on a 5v5 as they try to attack and defend their base from each other.
