Fun Week Day 1: Let the Fun Begin!

Excitement is plastered all over the faces of Students, Learning facilitators, and School Head as the most awaited FunWeek 2023 has officially arrived! Led by our excellent hosts, Ms. Alessandra Mercado and Mr. Gabrielle-Deo Guiyab, The FunWeek have formally commenced.
We started the day with the Parade of The Flags, With the help of Grade 10 Representative; Mr. Kyle Abergas Sy, and Grade 8 Representative; Mr. Josh Guevarra. The Philippine Flag and The APEC Flag were held to honor and salute the flags before the color parade.

After the Parade of The Flags, The Teams and their Learning Facilitators are ready to set their path ablaze as they cheer on for their teams. Each fiery section is set to represent its colors and set the court on fire with its killer performances later in the day. But of course, before the fun started, an AVP of Doxology was presented, and The Philippine National Anthem and The APEC Hymn was sung.

And we’re off! With encouraging and exhilarating words from our Dear Principal, Ms. Cherry Subong.

The Fun Officially Begins. Right after the opening remarks, AMPLIFY Editor-In-Chief, Althea Genabia takes over the stage as the side-host and interviews students to ask about their thoughts so far with the said event.
A student from Grade 8- Red Bombers steals the mic and said: “Ang ganda niyo po tuwing nakikita ka nabibighani ako” to Althea.
Ms. Althea replied by stating: ‘Oh, I have a boyfriend.’ Ouch, that must have a sting. The crowd rippledly exclaimed to her response.
After the interview, It was finally time to put on some dance pants and show off the killer moves that our Class Officers had to offer. They performed ¨Made you Look¨ as part of the opening ceremony.
