Get Ready! Sports Anime Strikes Again this 2023

Haikyuu! And Koruko no Basketball is still the top sport that has stolen the hearts of anime fans of all time. With the newly released sports anime this 2023, will they be able to capture the hearts of the audience? Let’s see what 2023 will serve us for the sports genre!
5. Blue Lock
Blue Lock follows our main character Isagi. One of the chosen soccer players to take part in a program named Blue Lock, wherein it aims to train and polish the skills of the chosen 300 players in survival mode to reach the top of the rankings to be called the “best striker”. Only 1 will be given a chance to represent Japan to win the World Cup against other countries such as Germany.
4. The Linking Shot
The anime, which focuses on archery, follows Kazemai High School's club as they navigate through personal issues on their way to competing for a spot in the championships. The story concluded on a rather gratifying note thanks to the protagonist's development, even though season 1 in many ways prepared the ground for a sequel.
3. Ippon Again!
Michi Sonoda makes the decision to permanently give up judo after an upsetting defeat in the championship match of her last high school competition. Her love for the sport, however, returns with a vengeance when Towa Hiura, the girl who beat her in that particular event, shows up at her school and offers to join a judo club with her.
2. Mix: Meisei Story Season 2
Baseball prodigies Toma and Soichiro Tachibana are stepbrothers, with Toma being a one-of-a-kind pitcher. The two go to the illustrious Meisei High School, which once made it to Koshien with the renowned pitcher Tatsuya Uesugi many years ago. The Meisei team is given their first genuine chance to return to Koshien by Toma and Soichiro, who have never been able to equal that illustrious triumph.

Electric vehicles with self-driving capabilities will soon be the norm. Nonetheless, MFG, a conventional internal combustion racing circuit, has been gaining popularity over the globe. Kanata Livington enters the competition while looking for his father Ken Katagiri while driving a borrowed Toyota 86 from a relative. Although having inferior specs, his remarkable driving talents enable him to win races, and soon more accomplished riders start to take notice.
